Nintendo Platinum Status. Empty Nintendo Platinum Status.

I actually have liked some of the previous Platinum Items. I know that Shelby always pokes fun of the plastic Super Mario Bros. statuette but I loved that one best. It's kinda small but very detailed and colorful. I would have loved to get the replica Mario Hat 2 years ago as well but I didn't make plat that year. I would have to agree with everyone that this years platinum is weak at best. I've never been a big fan of buttons in general but this just seems like a very cheap cop out of this years platinum prize. I can't be hoping for much next year because I really doubt I'll have enough points to even break gold. Oh well. I got my little statuette Very Happy

That little statuette is cool an all but it really didn't seem like a significant reward to me. It seems more like the thing you should get with 800 coins or something.

I do poke fun at Club Nintendo stuff a lot but mostly because Japan gets the really awesome stuff. I suppose I should be happy we have Club Nintendo at all. Bottom line, I just like to complain. Razz

Japan does get some pretty awesome stuff. I'm just glad I get anything at all really. Oh and I did get the button collection this year... errr. last year. It's actually not all that bad. No plastic Super Mario Bros. statuette but decent enough for display. I wouldn't say it's a platinum status item but I keep telling myself it was for the most part free.

I actually made platinum this year for the first time so I’m going to be waiting for a long time to find out what my Platinum status is going to get me.

You musta took an entire day to fill out those questionnaires. Those things can be tedious.

I filled out a few, but I actually had a bunch of games that I hadn’t registered and it only took about 4 games to get me up to platinum status. I’ve still got a ton of those surveys. I figure I’ll fill out a couple a day, but I want to hold as many of them as I can off until next year if possible to get Platinum again. Of course if there are any more games offered for download on Club Nintendo that I want I’ll have to fill out some more.
