GameCube Memories Empty GameCube Memories

Post  Tony Miller Tue Nov 01, 2011 5:48 pm

This month marks the 10th Anniversary of the Nintendo GameCube and Nintendo Okie is going to be celebrating it in style. All week long, during the week of November 14th to the 18th we’re going to be telling you about some of our most favorite GameCube games, our memories of the system itself and some fun facts about the system in general. We don’t want to hog all the fun. We want you to get involved.

What we’d like you to do is to send us your favorite, or least favorite, GameCube memories, and tell us some of your favorite games. Put all your thoughts into one or two paragraphs and email them to us at gamecube10th@nintendo-okie.com. We’re going to compile all of your submissions into an article that will be featured during that week. All of our coverage will also be sent to Nintendo so that they can see some of the communities thoughts on the system that lead us into the Wii.

It’s going to be a fun week. We want to make sure you’re involved. We’ll even be spending a good deal of time during the podcast that week to talk about the GameCube.

GameCube Memories Empty Try to remember

Post  Gil Thu Nov 03, 2011 8:46 am

I'll definitely try to remember to do this... which just reminded me that... I forgot the QB was due yesterday! ARRRRRGGGHHH. Well I wasn't going to win anyway so I guess it doesn't matter. Anywho I'll try to get my faves/least faves of the GC in when I have a spare minute to check my collection. Overall I didn't experience much on the GC since I pretty much only got it for Metroid Prime. I'll see what I got though.

Metroid Prime was the best the GC had to offer until Resident Evil 4 reared its ugly face... or beautiful face. However you want to call it.

I just bought an official Gamecube Memory Card 251. I'm buying The Simpsons: Hit & Run and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker. My question is: will it have enough space to hold both of those games or just one of them? And how many games exactly can it hold?
