3D Classics Empty 3D Classics

Post  Tony Miller Tue Oct 25, 2011 4:12 pm

Two more 3D Classics were recently announced, Kirby’s Adventure and Kid Icarus. Both of them official for Japan, but they’re almost certain to be over here as well. Are you interested in those? I know I am.

I think they’re the first two games that I would actually call Classics and would be interested in seeing a 3D reskin of them. What other NES games would you like to see done for the 3D Classics lineup of games?

I would like to see them get out the NES era for a while and move on to the Super Nintendo. Give us something like 3D Classics: Yoshi’s Island, or maybe even see if they could get Square to redo one of their RPGs.

Seriously a Kid Icarus update? I need to start saving for a 3DS now. Never been much of a reason for me to pick one up... Until now!

I think the Kid Icarus 3D Classic is timed just in time to get people who might not have heard of it interested in that and it’s a perfect tie in to the release of Kid Icarus: Uprising. 2012, the year of Icarus.

I told Shelby about the update to Kirby and he keeps telling me not to tempt him, but he’s put a moratorium on any re-purchases of old games until Nintendo allows it to be tied to an account, rather than a system.
